Information on the German Battery Act (BattG)
In connection with the sale of batteries or rechargeable batteries, or with the delivery of devices that contain batteries or rechargeable batteries, we are obliged under the BattG to inform you of the following: Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
As an end consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. You may return batteries free of charge after use at the point of sale or in its immediate vicinity (e.g., at municipal collection points or in retail stores).
You may also return batteries to us by post. Batteries or rechargeable batteries that contain hazardous substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin. Near the wheeled bin symbol you will find the chemical designation of the hazardous substance. CD stands for cadmium, Pb for lead, and Hg for mercury.
Return of packaging
With regard to sales packaging that we filled with goods for the first time and supplied to private end consumers, our company has joined the nationwide take-back system operated by Landbell AG, Mainz (customer number: 4136938) to ensure fulfilment of our legal obligations under Section 6 of the Packaging Ordinance (VerpackV).
